Sony STCEnvironment, Occupational Health & Safety Affairs Europe (ESAE)
Environment, Occupational Health & Safety Affairs Europe (ESAE) is the Regional Environmental Office acting as counterpart to HQ Environmental Center for the Sony group companies in the European region as defined by “Sony Group Environmental Management Structure”.
ESAE also acts as Regional Safety Office as the counterpart to HQ Corporate Workplace Solutions in the European region in terms of Occupational Health & Safety.
Moreover, ESAE supports Sony Corporation’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities governed by HQ Corporate Social Responsibility Department.
Major issues under ESAE responsibility are:
- Environmental product compliance (e.g. substances, labelling/markings, energy consumption, environmentally conscious design etc.)
- Site environment, occupational health & safety, site CSR, environmental and OHS management systems
- Take back and recycling (product, battery and packaging)
- Environmental and CSR promotion & communication
